Our Beliefs

We at Wycliffe Memorial Evangelical Church simply uphold that timeless Christian belief in the Triune God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We stand on the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life and atoning death on the cross of Calvary. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the tomb, and glorious ascension into heaven. Today, our Lord Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven and intercedes for us. We also accept in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus from heaven. We stand pre millennial concerning His second coming. We use only the Authorised (King James) Version of the Bible for teaching, preaching and ministering.

Our Pastor and people are happy to share the born again, saving gospel message of Christ. That is, that all need to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into their life as Saviour and live for Him as Lord. We accept that for all people there is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain. We believe in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in a practical sense concerning our daily service for Christ. We believe that God saves us, changes and transforms us to live for godliness, kindness, goodness, love and grace. All are welcomed.
