A CHURCH FOR EVERYONE

We Have a Heart for Children and Youth

At Wycliffe Evangelical Church, every child and young person is a precious gift from God, and we’re passionate about helping them grow in faith, friendship, and joy at every stage of life.

From our loving crèche for little ones, to our fun-filled Kids Club, to Junior Church where young people can explore the Bible in meaningful ways, we provide safe, nurturing, and engaging spaces designed just for them.

Whatever their age, we’re here to walk alongside children and youth as they discover God’s love and their place in His story.

All our teachers and workers are DBS background checked per child protection policy

SUNDAY MORNING FROM 10:30am

Créche

Créche in Wycliffe is a special place for little ones from birth up to 6 years. The ladies who volunteer weekly are ‘baby friendly’ and love to have the chance to pass on to the small ones the love of Christ. We begin with a free-play time with a wide range of toys and games to choose from. It is a joy to have the children so that mums and dads can focus on the service upstairs.

SUNDAY MORNING FROM 10:30am

Junior Church

Juniors aged 6-11 years are invited to come down after the morning offering hymn and prayer. A practical Bible Lesson is prepared to encourage them to grow their own faith in Jesus. This is a great chance for young people to see for themselves what God says in His Word. We now have two classes available one for primary ages(5-8), and another for junior ages(8-11).

SUNDAY MORNING FROM 10:30am

Youth

During the adult service in the chapel, the youth (ages 12–18) meet for a message specifically designed for their age group, led by our Youth Minister. They are presently working through the series “Walking with Wisdom – Proverbs.” Their gatherings also feature a variety of games, activities, and singing.

A CHURCH FOR EVERYONE

King's Kids Club

This club is for children aged 4-13 years and is structured around the Bible in order to help children know God. We begin downstairs after the offering hymn and prayer on Sunday evenings. Children join us in fun songs, a small devotion and prayer. Each child then uses their own notebook with memory verses to train them in God’s Word about basic doctrines and Christian living. A reward system is in place for each evening’s efforts. Then we round off the evening with group games.
